Pricing Analyst, Early Career to join our Proposal, Pricing and Pipeline Team (P3 Team), within Financial Operations.
We have team members in our offices in Arlington, VA, Princeton, NJ, and Menlo Park, CA if you enjoy an office environment, we have flexibilty for a hybrid work schedule. If you are in the US, then we are also able to offer a fully remote work schedule.
As a part of the Financial Operations Team you would be dedicated to supporting proposals and pricing across all of SRI. Financial Operations is a team of about 40 business managers, pricing analysts, proposal coordinators and financial project administrators. The work in this area focuses on government contracting/grants, commercial opportunities and financial revenue models.
Responsibilities
The Junior Pricing Analyst, under supervision, takes ownership and accountability for the accuracy of pricing input data, ensuring the financial data is in accordance with GAAP, FAR and CAS and other government regulations, contractual requirements, and SRI policy, taking an active role in all aspects of the process. They are responsible for ensuring the proposal pricing stays on track regarding budgets, cost volumes, timelines, and partners with contracts to ensure contractual requirements are accurately reflected. They are an integral part of the proposal team, working collaboratively and proactively to gather insight and contributions from stakeholders such as Contracts, Small Business Office, Subcontracts, Procurement and Division Business Managers. This role is a member of the finance operations team and responsible for proposing allowable and allocable cost and revenue, identifying potential schedule or performance risks, escalating as necessary, while providing finance guidance and support to proposal and division leadership, through the P3 Team Management.
- Work collaboratively within the P3 Team, working as a support system for all team members providing positive support.
- Providing budget support for proposal including cost volumes, worksheets and justifications as required
- Partner with research divisions to ensure strong internal customer support.
- Ensure all costing and related documents are compliant with internal and external requirements (i.e. the RFP)
- Prepare and submit budget files in accordance with timelines established.
- Provide well-timed response to audit requests.
- Work collaboratively across all divisions within SRI ensuring a strong partnership.
- Identify all issues related to pricing variances and notify P3 Team Manager, project leaders and stakeholders on potential risks and large variances.
- Identify all forward loss and/or cost share proposals and immediately communicate to the P3 Team Manager with accurate details. Communication will be forwarded up the approval chain appropriately.
- Team with accounting to ensure alignment of future project billings to client.
- Monitor activities for accuracy and quality and ensure project operations conform to company policies, appropriately communicating issues through finance operations.
- There may be initial EAC activity later.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- Finance, Business Administration and related preferred
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident - Required
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools
- Knowledge of pivot tables, linking workbooks, formulas & functions
- Word - tables, editing & formatting
- Ability to work independently
- Ablity to commute into an SRI office in Arlington, VA, Princton, NJ or Menlo Park, CA, as needed preferred.
The salary range is: $47,552-$78,760. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
