This position is to work under the direction of the Owner of the company. This is a great opportunity to get into the automation engineering field. Ideal candidate would be a new electrical engineering graduate. If you are self-managing and a hard worker, we're interested!
Starting tasks:
1) Panel fabrication. Learn the in's and outs of panel fabrication. Assist in keeping the projects in the shop moving forward.
2) Quoting projects. This is something that the new hire would be trained to do.
3) Submittals / O&M manuals.
4) Material procurement.
Future tasks:
1) Manage the panel shop.
2) Managing projects.
3) Configure / setup instrumentation.
4) Field support on projects.
5) Project management. Manage small to large projects.
Optional Future Tasks:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and equipment
- Create and modify electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems, including logic controllers and VFD's
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Also considering someone with experience, EE degree may not be needed.
- Moderate knowledge of automation principles, techniques, and best practices
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCad Electrical (Optional, can be trained)
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Understanding of control systems and logic controllers (PLCs) (Optional, can be trained)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
