As part of a passionate team of engineers, you will be responsible for designing a variety of electronic sensors. You will play a key role in both R&D and product development for next generation navigation systems.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment while contributing to innovative solutions, demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design rugged electronic sensors and guidance systems that are used in harsh environments such as construction machines, agricultural equipment, military vehicles, and ships. In particular build world class PCB assemblies that survive harsh environmental conditions and report location, position and orientation with high accuracy for very long periods of time outdoors.
- Work with manufacturing to create high quality production methods to make our products.
- Identify, qualify and manage key suppliers of electronic, software and tools that support design and development.
- Update and modify parts, qualify vendors, and reduce cost of existing products after launch.
- Participate in root cause investigations, corrective actions, process improvements, product testing and qualification, and product improvement initiatives.
- Develop new and improve existing processes and procedures for new product introduction (NPI).
- Redesign exiting products to reduce cost and address shortcoming of existing designs.
Qualifications
- The Candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. with 10+ years of industry experience, having a primary background in electrical and embedded firmware engineering, with extensive experience in the design of mixed-signal, real-time signal processing and communication devices.
- Experience is required in designing for high volume electronics manufacturing.
- Additional experience in math, robotics, and physics is desirable.
- Required skills: Altium, ARM processors, C, C++, bare metal and RTOS, CANbus, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, SPI, UART, I2C, RTOS, DSP, PCBA design and bring up, high speed and mixed signal design and debugging, RF qualification and testing.
- Bonus skills: UWB, GNSS, antenna design, Kalman filters, vendor identification, qualification, and relationship management, quality management, price negotiation, domestic and overseas sourcing and logistics.
