Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
IoT Data Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data from various IoT devices to provide actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies that enhance our products and services as well as provide enhanced customer experiences.
In this role, you will focus on analyzing data from our connected water heaters and HVAC systems to drive product improvements and enhance user experiences. You will work closely with our engineering, product development, and customer support teams to provide actionable insights and ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
This position will serve Rheem’s
Enterprise Division located in
Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data collection frameworks for IoT devices.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and opportunities.
- Develop predictive models to forecast system performance and potential issues.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to create comprehensive datasets.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on data-related tasks.
- Participate in the development of data-driven strategies to improve product features and user experience.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data management.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and data analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering analytic solutions to solve complex problems
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience serving as an IoT Intelligence Analyst
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively work with large teams
- An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively.
- High technical aptitude
- Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter experts
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the IoT domain.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques
- Experience in the HVAC or Water Heater Industry is a plus
- Familiarity with data management best practices.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and data analytics.
