About the Role:
We are seeking a Lead React.js Developer who will be responsible for the development of high-quality, scalable, and performant front-end solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the front-end architecture while mentoring a team of developers to meet and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of front-end components using React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaborate with design and back-end teams to translate wireframes and technical requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
- Ensure the front-end is highly responsive and resilient, providing users with an excellent experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues, ensuring the deliverables meet high standards.
- Contribute to the evaluation and integration of industry standards, tools, and methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Document software designs and participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
- Take ownership of your work, be accountable for decisions and outcomes, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Support legacy code migration to modern frameworks (React/TypeScript), ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 4+ years focused on React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Proven experience migrating legacy front-end code to modern tech stacks (React/TypeScript).
- Ability to design and implement reusable components with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles, and a passion for providing a seamless user experience.
- Experience working in agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in government or highly regulated industries is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
